Payment policy

To guarantee your reservation, a non-refundable deposit of $15 is required.

It can be check, money order, or credit card.

The remainder of the payment is due on the day of the course.

Safety First CPR & First Aid Training reserves the Right to Refuse Service. Disruptive behavior, late arrivals, and inappropriate actions are not tolerated.

We do our best not to cancel a Class, even if there is only 1 student registered or 1 student shows up.

Unless there is inclement weather and the Federal Government is closed, we will still be conducting training, but we want you to be safe when driving to our training.

We do our very best to ensure a pleasant, enjoyable, and productive learning experience, and because of this, we ask you to:

Please be on time! Lateness is not tolerated. If you will be more than 10 minutes late, you will need to reschedule. Late arrivals are disruptive to students already in class.
Come prepared to do CPR. CPR classes require you to get on the floor to successfully demonstrate proper compressions.
- Dress comfortably on a carpeted floor, performing CPR skills.
- Do not wear extra-short shorts or tight clothing that may be too restrictive.
- CPR is physically demanding. If you cannot perform to standard, you will not be awarded a certification card.
If you do not attend an in-person training, we will not award you a certification, no matter how much you request us to provide one for you. That is unethical and immoral. We hold our company and instructors to a very high standard.

Release and Hold Harmless Agreement

The purpose of this agreement is to inform participants in the class of the risks associated with participating in an emergency care training program. It is a voluntary release by the participants to hold HSI and the Training Center harmless from any liability or costs from injury associated with or arising from the participant’s participation in this class, including from negligence.

Many of our classes are open enrollment. We also do have normally scheduled CPR and/or First Aid Classes in English or Spanish offered at our Annandale, Virginia location on:

Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 9 pm

Saturday classes are from 9 am to 12 pm.

We do our best to try to update our schedule online but for faster service and to ensure enrollment/availability, use our "Contact Us" button, send us an email, or give us a call.

We do not accept any walk-in/drop-in students for our classes. ALL CLASSES ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

We are only conducting blended/hybrid course in CPR, AED, and/or First Aid classes at our Suitland location.

Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:30 pm.

We can also travel and conduct training at your location at no extra charge as long as you are within a 60 mile radius. In order for us to conduct training at your location, we require a minimum of 3 students.

We offer group discounts for groups larger than 5.

Training Courses are held at our Annandale or our Suitland Training. Both locations are held at a private residence. Please be courteous of our neighbors when parking and attending our classes. This includes not blocking any driveways. There is a private entrance for the trainings.

Browse through our course offerings, and once you find the perfect fit, reach out so we can get you registered. After we have registered for the training, swing by our store to select your training and complete your payment.

* We are pleased to announce that we are now offering Blended/Hybrid courses at our Suitland Location. Currently, we only offer HSI's CPR/AED All Ages and Adult/Pediatric First Aid Blended/Hybrid courses at this location. The didactic is done online, and then you come to our location for your in-person hands-on Skills Evaluation with a manikin and an instructor. This course does count as meeting your IN-PERSON requirements.

All other courses, including our full instructor-led classes, will take place at our Annandale, Virginia Training Center.

Upon registering for the training, we’ll provide you with the date, time, and location of the training.

We offer off-site training and can travel to your location for groups as small as three students at no additional cost within a 60-mile radius. Contact us to schedule training for your organization or group. Discounts are available for non-profit organizations and groups of more than five participants.
